I have some very exciting news to share, I am joining the Silverstein Foundation for Parkinson’s with GBA as an Associate Director!
I could not be more thrilled to continue in the mission of the Foundation to advance the GBA-PD field by finding novel and diverse approaches to analyze, prevent and treat GBA-PD. The Foundation does so through grants to companies as well as through their fellowship program where they partner with leading academic centers to foster the next generation of scientists in this burgeoning field.
I will be helping identify the next group of fellows who will join the program in the fall of 2025. The fellowship is a 2 year program designed to support outstanding research in GBA-PD by providing salaries, opportunities for networking and professional development for postdocs at world-leading medical institutions.
We will follow up with more submission details shortly.
I did want to note that I will continue to work at Rune Labs as Chair of their Patient Advisory Board. We have a lot of exciting things planned for the next year that I can’t wait to share.
